Vintage Las Vegas Neon Sign/Marquee Letters. Movie Memoribilia

This sign came off the Klondike casino which was the first hotel and casino as you entered the strip, to the right of the welcome to fabulous Las Vegas sign which is arguably the most famous sign in the world. This casino and hotel served as the parking lot for tourists to stop and take pictures next to the welcome sign until a median/parking lot was built. There was a 5 year period that the welcome to Las Vegas sign was not lit. The owner of the Klondike hotel at that time, ran a heavy duty electric cord to make sure that sign remained lit. An article on that is included below. These letters are roughly 7ftx4ftx10in. They all vary in size of length but the width and height remain the same. They were featured in the iconic 90’s film Vegas vacation, in a deleted scene of miss congeniality 2, and likely many other films. I will update those as I find them. Please see YouTube links below for clips were the sign is featured in those films. As you can see in the pictures there was steel support framing added to the S only. The sign was split up and the owner of the S reinforced the letter because these signs are wobbly due the the large size and the thin steel they are made of. These signs can be split to read CA (California), CO (Colorado), Along with SIN as a separate word. These signs are neon museum quality! I will hand deliver this item from Las Vegas. Vtg Firestone Storefront Backlit Neon Letters Sign Free Shipping

For sale is this Vintage Backlit Neon FIRESTONE Individual Letters Storefront Sign in great condition. The sign is metal on the sides and backs with an acrylic or plastic front. The sign does show normal signs of wear and use including some scuffs, scratches as well as some minor cracks around the trim. The neon and is all there accept in the letter “F” where a portion is missing (see last pic). Each letter has the ballast. The electrical regarding this sign has NOT been tested. Antique Vintage Pharmacy RX Sign Flying V Neon Brass Block Type Letters 90

Very cool old Pharmacy sign. The letters measure 9″ tall and 2″ thick. The platform is 6″ tall for 15″ total height. Each half wing measures 45″ long and the sign has approximately 24″ depth. This was a neon and has the ports for the tubing. This is a very unusual sign. It weighs about 60 pounds. I have had success with Uship and do have a couple of regular drivers I have used in the past contact me if you want to see what they would charge. This sign was working right up to the day it was taken down. Very Cool and sooooooooooo Retro… ! The exact measurements are 18″ width (stainless steel Base), 20 1/4″ Height of sign and 123″ (10′ 3″) Long! It’s a biggie! The rest of the sign is metal painted Red. That is not rust on the top of sign in picture, it is dirt. Definitely needs a cleaning. RARE 1950s FIRESTONE LETTERS PORCELAIN SIGN NEON GAS OIL Xlnt Vtg Condt

For sale is this amazing FIRESTONE Individual Letters Sign in outstanding condition considering its age! The porcelain has great color! The sign does show signs of wear and use including some scuffs, scratches some minor bending as well as some chips/wear on the porcelain (the worst is on the “F” which can be seen in the second to last pic). This sign once had neon outlining the letters on the outside however, the neon has been removed. Each letter seems to still have a ballast in it based on the weight of each of the letters but I have not confirmed this. The electrical regarding this sign has NOT been tested. I have not removed the backs of the letters to look inside other than the “F” which has screws missing so I could look inside. The letters have the pieces around the edges that the neon use to be hooked to. The sign is in “as found” condition other than being dusted off. The back of the letters do have some areas of surface rust. There is a partial sticker on one of the letters that I can make out that says Underwriters Laboratories. Someone put tin foil over the glass holes to keep stuff out on a few of the letters. There is also some steel attached to the back of the letters from the original mount. They were in worse condition then this set. I was unable to find any others to gauge a value… These are rare from what I understand. The Letters measure approx. (Height x Width in Inches) All letters are the same depth of approx 7 1/4. F – 44 1/2 x 33. I – 30 x 8 1/2. R – 24 x 17 1/4. E – 24 x 19. S – 24 x 18 1/2. T – 29 3/8 x 13 1/4. O – 24 1/2 x 20 3/4. N – 24 1/4 x 19 1/2. This is a great and rare opportunity to own an iconic piece of automobile/advertising memorabilia especially one in this kind of condition!! Please contact to discuss.
