VTG 1930s RARE Holcomb Christian PRISCILLA QUALITY DIAMONDS NEON SPINNER SIGN

Vintage 1930s PRISCILLA QUALITY DIAMONDS neon spinner sign in good structural condition despite it’s many years. Glass has no breaks or cracks, however reverse transfer has shrinkage and loss (see pics). Metal case is in good shape with no bends, cracks or oxidation (could use a cleaning). 80 year old neon and transformer are strong and continue to function very well, could not get spinner motor to operate. Cloth would power cord looks good. Measures 15 x 14 x 5.5 inches. If you have any specific instructions regarding special packing, please let me know before paying so that I may adjust invoice if necessary. A RARE PIECE OF HISTORY. I CANNOT FIND ANOTHER LIGHT LIKE THIS. I BELIEVE IT TO HAVE BEEN USED ORIGINALLY IN A STORE DISPLAY. WAS FOUND IN A COASTAL MAINE BARN. GREAT PATINA ON THE PAINTED GLASS. White background in center with red lettering and Blue Rim. Some of the blue rim paint is missing. But great patina and the look is marvelous. PAPER LABEL ON THE SIDE NEON PRODUCTS LIMA OHIO. THIS COMPANY STARTED IN BUSINESS IN THE 1930’s. THIS LIGHT MAY THEN BE FROM THE 1930’s. The patents listed on the back of the electric sign was granted in the year 1937 for an Animated luminous display. You can google patent 2097122 and you’ll find it. THE NEON IS GREEN LIGHT. WHEN YOU PLUG IT IN THE NEON SPINS. 17 3/4 inches round in diameter. HAS ITS ORIGINAL PLUG. GREAT SIGN FOR THE NEON BEER COLLECTOR SIGN CLOCK AS WELL. THIS IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION AND LIKE I SAID IS ALL ORIGINAL. SYNCHRON MEGANISM ON BACK METAL. 1930’s-1940’s Neon Art Deco Lark’s Beer Sign. This item is in great shape with no rotting on the metal. It came out of a bar in Wisconsin were it remained for many years before being took down. The neon is all missing in this item but it still has all its guts. The glass insulators are all intact. This piece has the original twisted cast iron hangers on it. There is some fading, wear and rust on this item but there is no rotting through. Overall a fantastic piece ready to be re-neoned or left as is. Item measures 95-24-8 inches. CLEVLAND OHIO NEON CLOCK. This old clock has been in the wild until 1 week ago. With the original flag it measures 38″ wide and 32″ tall. This clock was found on the original service station it was attached to. The Face and Glass have been stored inside for the last 50 years while the can remained attached to the building. I have taken pictures of every Thing I think is important. I do believe that the clock itself will work. There are no breaks on the neon on the inside face. Before going any further please note that I will describe this sign to the best of my ability(just what I see) and will provide 12 photos so you can judge the condition for yourself. Based on my research this sign is from the late 30’s early 40’s. It is approximately 27″ x 7 1/2″ x 1 3/4. As you can see in the photos this whole sign is rusty(just surface dust rust).. Metal IS NOT rusted through in any spot… The metal frame is SOLID. There are NO cracks of any kind to the thick glass panel nor the neon tubing. This sign needs a new. Electrical cord and needs some TLC(a good sanding and a good paint job) to make it more beautiful. What you see is what you will be receiving. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS AS.
