Vintage 1980’s BUDWEISER BOW TIE NEON , Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis, Missouri LN LIKE NEW. Up for your consideration is a 1980’s Two Color Budweiser Bow Tie neon sign in excellent + condition. Judging by the over all condition, the sign may have never been used. Please look at all the high-res photos – there’s a fair amount of dust, but basically Exc ++. The neon glass is minty and may have never been used – no breaks, cracks, roping or repairs – great bright, clean, saturated colors – Budweiser is White and the Bow Tie is Reddish-Orange and picks up more red from the Bow Tie Frame. The block-out paint is in excellent condition (please see photos #’s 3, 4, 8 & 9). Transformer: please see photos #’s 10 & 11. This sign is supplied with its’ original USA 7,500 Volt, 30 m. Franceformer which is really quiet, even for a new unit. Is embossed in raised letters on the front of the transformer. The sign was produced by Mt. Vernon Neon Sign Company, Mt. Who was a primary maker of Bud signs from the 50’s to the 80’s. On the back of the frame is the Mt. Vernon label along with the date of manufacture: May 6, 1986. Please see photo #12. There are other labels on the transformer and also a Union Made sticker on the back glass. This is a classic sign, perfect for your Cave or whatever you have in mind. Dimensions: 30″ W x 19″ H x 6 D.
