I believe this clock is a reproduction. The size of it is 18 inch diameter and 5-1/2 deep It is in mint condition I give it a 9.5 out of 10 The only blemish is a small dint on the exterior (see pic) It is made of a steel back and the top part is aluminum I do not know who made this but the guy I bought it from (in Arkansas) had it in his possession for many years. It might be a clock that Shell gave to its dealers? I tried researching this on Google but failed to come up with a similar clock like this. The spinner & neon both work. Rare Vintage Large Texaco Neon Spinner Wall Clock Pinwheel Gas Sign! Works

The neon works, the “spinner” works, and the clock keeps time! The electrical cord is pristine! There are no scratches to the glass front; there are a few small wear areas to the back. There is an area of some small pitting to the surface of the metal surrounding the clock. The Texaco logo used on this clock is the logo the Company used from 1936 to 1963. The movement of the spinning wheel inside is mesmerizing! Visit You Tube and search for spinning neon clocks to see an example. Although not marked, this clock is almost exactly like the spinner clocks released by The Neon Clock Company of Chicago. Although not of the period of the logo, this clock does have some age to it. The clock measures a 20″ in diameter and is about 5″ deep. The electrical cord is 8′ long. This beauty is perfect for a man cave or someone’s gas and oil collection! VINTAGE 1940s BERGHOFF BEER FORT WAYNE INDIANA BACK BAR NEON MOTION SPINNER SIGN

This 1940s sign is internally lit with neon and features a rotating wheel with the slogans for Berghoff Beer Tried Berghoff Lately? – A Real Honest Brew Since 1887 that is run by a clock motor. The sign has had the wood base repainted black and the outside metal ring has been repainted with black wrinkle finish paint. Reverse glass face on the outside had new black paint applied exactly like the original. The sign has an outer glass with a plastic advertisement sandwiched between it and another piece of glass. The plastic ad has a lighter colored line that goes from top to bottom between the Fs of the word Berghoff as seen in the picture. This is not a big deal but I want to point it out as it can be seen when it is not plugged in and lit up. Sign lights and runs very smoothly. This is an extremely rare sign that never comes up for sale so dont miss your chance. MEASUREMENTS (APPROXIMATELY): 10 Inches Wide x 10 7/8 Inches Tall x 3 1/2 Inches Deep. Vintage 1930s PRISCILLA QUALITY DIAMONDS neon spinner sign in good structural condition despite it’s many years. Glass has no breaks or cracks, however reverse transfer has shrinkage and loss (see pics). Metal case is in good shape with no bends, cracks or oxidation (could use a cleaning). 80 year old neon and transformer are strong and continue to function very well, could not get spinner motor to operate. Cloth would power cord looks good. Measures 15 x 14 x 5.5 inches. If you have any specific instructions regarding special packing, please let me know before paying so that I may adjust invoice if necessary. Vintage neon spinner clock made by Neon Clock Sales Company in Chicago, ILL. 14 inches in diameter heavy chrome plated steel front case with black metal back. All steel construction, heavy American made core and coil transformer and all brass American made clock movement. Outer lens is glass. Very high quality clock weighs approx. Lights up, runs, keeps perfect time. Has a pull chain switch on the bottom so the neon can be turned on or off without disrupting the time. Unsure of exact age but not a currently produced clock, at least 30 years old. Face is original to the clock and has had no touch up or restoration. Has a couple of small rust spots near the 7 which might clean off but I’ll leave that to the new owner. Any questions just ask, I’ll reply ASAP. This clock came from that group of stuff. Neon Clock Sales Company started business in 1945. I’m not sure when they ceased operation. Most of the parts that I bought were wrapped in newspapers from the late 80’s so they made it at least that long. I assume this clock is from that time frame. This one advertises Packard Approved Service and is marked Neon Clock Sales Company Chicago, IL around the bottom of the face. The clock is as close to perfect as you are likely to find. Face has no visible scratches or flaws. The can is made of heavy steel the and has a beautiful black wrinkle finish paint job which was common on neon clocks from the 40’s and 50’s. All of these clocks and parts were NOS and never used. They do have a little shelf wear or some very light scuffs but they are very nice for their age! This clock does have a new neon tube, a new cord, and a new switch, it should provide many years of trouble free service. Any questions just ask. I’ll reply ASAP. 14.5 inches in diameter with an 11 inch outer glass and is approx. 6.5 inches deep. (from the wall to the front of the clock) Weighs a hefty 12 lbs.
