VINTAGE ORIGINAL NEON ADVERTISING CLOCK SIGN RUNS RESTORED On/Off Lights. The clock is approximately 25 in diameter and the outside of waves around the clock is approximately 32 and the depth is 7 1/2 from wall out. Restored last year with neon and motor to run clock so should be set for another 10-20 years. There are fish all around the clock and this clock was in a neon shop in the Florida keys in the 80s and was old then. Please see all pics and ask any questions you may have and thanks for looking. When you turn lights off clock will still run and button to adjust time is on the right side and light switch is on left side. Truly an awesome neon clock. VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1948 CHEVROLET TIME NEON DEALER ADVERTISING CLOCK IN GREAT RUNNING CONDITION. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1848 CHEVROLET TIME NEON CLOCK THAT ADVERTISES FOR CLARK CHEVROLET OF MESICK, MICHIGAN. I REPLACED THE NEON TRANSFORMER AND CLOCK MOTOR AS SHOWN. THE TRANSFORMER WORKS BUT I DID NOT WANT ANY SHOCK HAZARD AND THE CLOCK MOTOR WOULD START AND STOP BUT IT MADE A LOUD NOISE SO I REPLACED IT WITH A BRAND NEW SYNCHRON MOTOR THAT RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH WITH NO NOISE! IT HAS EXCELLENT COLORS AND GRAPHICS ON THE FACE WITH SOME MINOR PAINT ISSUES ON THE ALUMINUM CASE AS SHOWN. IT MEASURES A LARGE 20 1/2” IN DIAMETER BY 6” THICK AND WAS MADE IN 1848 BY THE SIGN AND PICTORIAL LOCAL TRADES AND PAINTERS UNION LOCAL 214. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE AND HIGHLY COLLECTABLE ORIGINAL CHEVROLET TIME NEON CLOCK THAT WILL MAKE AN EXCELLENT ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION. THE CASE, MOTOR AND NEON WERE ALL DATED 1848 SO YOU KNOW WHEN IT WAS MADE. VINTAGE INDIAN CLOCK SIGN…. I HAVE NO HISTORY ON THIS OUTSIDE IT WAS DIRTY FILTHY WHEN I GOT IT… I HAD TO REMOVE BOTH GLASS PIECES TO INSTALL NEW BULBS (not neon).. SO I TOOK PICS WHILE APART.. TAKES 3 STANDARD BULBS ON TOP WHICH ARE NOW NEW LED BULBS AND SHOULD LAST YEARS, THE BOTTOM TAKES A TUBE WHICH IS NOW NEW.. THE DIAL WAS DIRTY RUSTY(see pics).. BOTH PIECES OF GLASS ARE CRACK FREE BACK PAINTED.. MOTOR DATED 1950 AND STILL RUNS, CANT SWEAR ON IF ACCUATE AS I DIDNT RUN IT BUT 15 MINUTES.. THE PAINT ON THE METAL CASE WAS BLUE BUT NOW MORE RUSTY COLOR but SOLID WITH NO ISSUES. COOL OLD CLOCK AND IVE NEVDR SERN ANOTHER LIKE THIS…. HARLEY-DAVIDSON vintage tall neon dealer wall clock (26 inch). As displayed decades ago (60s-70s) at San Diego Harley dealership at India Street. Clock runs exactly on time. Red pointer for seconds runs around with steady speed when clock is powered up by connecting plug to outlet. Small switch as shown in picture 5 lights up:’HARLEY – DAVIDSON’ neon lettering, interrupted circle lines suggesting a wheel, and inner lower positioned neon ring around face of clock. This is a unique hand made beauty that survived the times. Body is constructed from sheet metal in gloss black painted finish. Clock face diameter: 15′. Height housing with neon 7′. Glass window as fixated in giant bezel diameter 17.5′. Before placing clock in a wooden crate of 33” x 33” x 12” with packing material it will receive its own protective’pill box’ with an internal studded cover that will set the neon lettering free and keep the clock from moving or bouncing.
