Rare Antique 1950s Precision Parts Swiss Type Automatics Hardware Store Display Sign. Made For Specialty Screw Machine Products Lancaster Pa. Still lights up and displays great. Measures 18 tall x 24 wide x 7 deep. There is a neon bar inside that runs along the edge to illuminate the sign and also a light bulb behind the middle logo. Bottom of display has a pull out tray where the products would have been kept. This is a excellent display piece for any general store collector. Original cord was cut and someone spliced a new one to the back. Display is heavy weighing probably around 30-40 pounds. See photos for details! This piece is in overall excellent condition. Vintage 1940s Ampro Precision Equipment Neon Sign Advertising Panellit

This is a vintage neon advertising sign for the Ampro Precision Ciné Equipment Co. In great working condition. The sign was manufactured by Panellit Displays, Inc. This sign is from the personal estate of the owners of the famous, but now defunct, Falls City Theatre Co. It was part of a promotional advertising display there many years ago. The sign glows in two colors: pink and green. See photos for detail. Ampro was bought by Precision Equipment in 1944 and the last known new Ampro products were seen in 1957 after a slow and lengthy decline. Based on that, and the appearance of it compared to others, we are assuming this to be from the late 1940s.
