Vintage Porcelain Neon KONETA HOTEL Sign Wapakoneta Ohio

The KONETA HOTEL SIGN from Wapakoneta Ohio. Item is 2 sided, porcelain. A few, small chips, on both sides, due to falling off building, during a 1940 thunderstorm. New neon can be added, or, item can be left as-is. That’s me, in the white t-shirt, a few minutes, after it was found. Because I didn’t want to risk potential damage (from items already in my trailer), I drove to Williamsburg, Virginia, the following week, to pick it up. Item has been on display, at a local restaurant, for free, since March, of 2016. New owner must contact restaurant owner, to negotiate a convenient, and safe removal time. This is a new old stock sign found in a basement of an old drug store. Near perfect, and in working condition. Made by Neon Products Inc. The face is a heavy plastic that is ribbed on top and bottom, and is in great condition. The back and ends of the sign are painted metal. Cord is in excellent condition and does not look to have ever been unraveled. Measures 20″ long, 8″ tall and 2-3/4 thick. 20s vintage Light Up Gas Pump Globe Sign Estate Heatrola Hamilton Ohio pre neon

This is a beautiful all original double sided lighted advertising globe made by The Cincinnati Advertising Products Co. The metal body measures approx. 21” tall and each glass lens is approx. 16.75” in diameter. This is a big globe! Both glass panels are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The reverse painted graphics are perfect on both sides with no issues. The dark brown paint on the metal body is original and in excellent condition with a near mint decal. I strongly suspect that the sign was never used. Certainly it has never been outdoors. There are a few scratches and wear marks on the brown paint of the body and some areas are less glossy than others. Aside from dusting it off I haven’t cleaned or polished it. Local pick-up is certainly more than welcome, I’m located just a few miles off of I-71, less than an hour north of Cincinnati. CLEVLAND OHIO NEON CLOCK. This old clock has been in the wild until 1 week ago. With the original flag it measures 38″ wide and 32″ tall. This clock was found on the original service station it was attached to. The Face and Glass have been stored inside for the last 50 years while the can remained attached to the building. I have taken pictures of every Thing I think is important. I do believe that the clock itself will work. There are no breaks on the neon on the inside face.
