Motel sign is in great condition. Sign is 9 ft 10 in tall, 35 in wide and 8 in thick. The letters are 16 in tall and 20 in wide. All neon tubes are still there and in tact except one small break in the curve of the L. Have never plugged in because plug is a little buggered up. Is two sided and both sides are the same with the exception of the L. On one side the L is a little bent on the bottom. Has great outdoor patina. Sign is very big. Great sign for a good price! Offered here is this wonderful Doubled sided Neon Shoe Repair Hanging Sign Circa 1950. Measurements are 44 inches long , 9 3/4 inches wide, 16 1/2 inches tall, 22 inches to top of hangers. LARGE VINTAGE DOUBLE SIDED HANGING NEON SIGN GALVANIZED METAL BOX GUNS

Please scroll down under this description for 33 additional views. Large, vintage mid 20th century double sided neon sign that reads GUNS in white letters on a dark green background. The galvanized metal box measures 59″ by 23″ by 11 – that’s almost 5 foot long! Made for outdoor display, the metal box was made by hand in a sign shop. The clean interior shows how water-tight is was built and it has two strong arms for hanging. The paint shows some wear and it looks like it has been repainted and touched up over the years. It has a working Dongan transformer (catalog number 930) and the only working neon left is “GU” on one side. These old double sided signs are harder and harder to find in good condition. It’s a great “canvas” for restoration or customization. It comes from an old Macon family-run pawn shop. We are happy to combine wins in one package when we can.
