Vintage 1940s 4 Neon Moose Club Sign Painted Metal Bar, Fraternal Oneida Ny. Measuring 4 foot long 12 inches tall and 8 inches deep this neon metal Oneida New York Moose club sign hung outside the local fraternal organization for 50+ years. Made of metal painted green this nostalgic sign would be great for the man cave or for the neon sign collector. It runs on 110 hardwired. And has the original brackets for hanging still attached. Please be sure to view my photos. They are part of the description. The sign does power up. However the letter M in the neon is cracked. To use this is a neon sign you will have to have the neon fixed. However the transmitter is in good working order inside the sign. Information on the Oneida Moose Club. The only item Moose club was originally located on Broad Street in Oneida up until the early to mid-1940s. Its been moved to Genesee Street into a new building in 1945. I do believe this sign was hung at the original building on Broad Street and brought to be hung outside the new building on Genesee Street in the early to mid-1940s. Dating it back to at least 1945. Vintage OLD Metal Motel Marquee Arrow Sign (not neon) Bulbs Local Las Vegas

Up for sale is a very cool old motel arrow sign. I was told it came off an old motel in El Paso. It’s definitely seen the elements, when we took it apart to inspect the insides, there was probably a pound of desert dust inside of it. Based on the sign and the wiring it’s probably from the 1950s, maybe earlier. These don’t often come up for sale so don’t let this get away. The sign is NOT missing any access panel. We gently cleaned the wiring, inspected the wiring, rewired the plug and discovered the mechanical flasher needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I never got around to it, I wanted to try and find one that was at least vintage new old stock rather than a brand new one.. Note: The mechanical flasher that makes the bulbs flash has chewed through the contacts from decades of use. The mechanical flasher is dated to be 30 years old and did not appear to be original to the sign the way it was installed, so this was obviously one of many mechanical sign flashers this sign has used up and thrown away. They even sell SOLID STATE flashers that would work with this but you would be giving up that great mechanical “grinding” sound this sign gives off. Huge Vintage 1950’s Chevrolet 2 Sided 25′ Neon Porcelain Metal Gas Oil Sign

For your consideration a vintage 1950’s sign. The sign is made of metal and is double sided. The signs have a porcelain finish and are made to be neon lit. The glass neon tubes for the letters are missing. Each side has three porcelain panels that make up Chevrolet. The transformers look to be complete and the body of the sign is still in good condition. The porcelain signs are still in good condition and there is no touch up. They could use a good cleaning. It measures overall with the mounting brackets 45″ in depth by 285″ in height. The body with the porcelain signs measures 280 1/2″ in height by 34″ in depth by 14 1/2 in width. The hanging bracket on the top measures 42 across. I can store the sign for as long as needed as long as it is paid for. It is in Crawfordsville, Indiana zip code 47933. It originally hung in front of City Chevrolet in Chicago’s famous auto row. An excellent addition to any advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old sign and a great piece of history.
