LARGE & IN CHARGE! These will look great with neon back on them. Large porcelain neon letters. The “F” is a little over 3 feet tall, as shown the set is approximately 16′ long. Each letter still has it’s original stand, you never find them with these anymore. Stands can be removed if you wish to hang them on the wall. All I’ve done is wipe the faces down with Windex, see photos for condition. The black on the “n” appears to be dried tar. Any questions just ask. We have one remaining set of black metal cased, white Neon letters formerly gracing Denver’s Avalanche Harley Davidson building. The building was the “Lakewood Theater” back in the 50’s. Avalanche was the Harley dealers name. The set contains 9 letters approx. 17 1/4″ high x 13 ½” wide x 4 deep. There are two glass tubes jutting out the back of each letter about 4 long, where the wiring attaches. Price reflects this fact. For condition please look at the closeup photos. This second set has a few metal lips that have some minor bending. You would need a transformer and some wiring to make them functional. These would look great in your studio or home!! Nice overall vintage condition, with the letters measuring 10.5″ tall and 5.5″ deep. The C is closer to 11.5 tall. There are some hairline cracks in the lens/light diffuser of the A and possibly the E but in my opinion it all just adds to the vintage look! Theyre not very noticeable as you can see from the picture, and I forgot to take not before packing them all up. (Which is why I said possibly the E). The tubes in the rest of the letters were broken so we removed them. They would look great with some LED strips or Christmas lights ran through the backs! Feel free to send a message if you are looking for other specific letters. Any questions, just ask. If youre not in a hurry its a great way to save a few bucks, but if youre needing it by a certain time, Priority is the way to go. Once we drop it off at the post office, theres no way for us to make it show up any faster. I WILL KEEP SIGN ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE INCLUDING TRYING TO SAVE SOME OF THE NEON GLASS ON IT CURRENTLY OR IT CAN BE ALL NEW, WHATEVER YOU DESIRE. WE CAN REMOVE THE MOUNTING BRACKETS AND ADD THE FREE STANDING STANDS BACK, NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. I WILL NOT REPAINT THE RED, THAT GOES AGAINST MY BELIEF IN RESTORATION. WE CAN HOWEVER CLEAN IT UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE WITHOUT REMOVING TOO MUCH ORIGINAL PAINT. THE CURRENT CONDITION OF THE LETTERS ARE ABOUT THE SAME AS WHEN THEY GOT REMOVED OFF THE VEGAS CLUB. THEY WERE MOUNTED ON MY WALLS WITHIN A MONTH OF BEING REMOVED OFF THE BUILDING. THE FREMONT DUST WASN’T EVEN CLEANED OFF IT. IF I’M UNABLE TO REACH YOU WITHIN 3 DAYS I WILL EXTEND THAT “RIGHT TO REFUSE” FOR 10 DAYS. I WILL ALSO ACCEPT BUYERS IN CANADA, PLEASE CONTACT ME PRIOR IF INTERESTED. These two letters were on the Las Vegas Club on Fremont St in Downtown Las Vegas. There is countless photos, videos, art canvases featuring these letters as well as movies including The Hangover 3 that showed 1 of these signs. So this sign was right at the Fremont St Experience or on the side of the building where Hangover 3 scene took place. The other V was never offered for sale (there were two signs). They either kept it or it got destroyed during removal. There is no “eye sores” on this sign except for the back. I have had brackets on the backs welded on so they could be mounted on a wall. A welder could always remove the brackets and weld the original stands back on. Most letters were dented up and bent, some had big rust holes through the front on some areas.. Do I have to say it again, this includes the only “V” that was offered for sale, without the V there is no other example of these. They are used and have no hardware to secure the letters. The letter n, neon is broken and needs to be fixed. The letter r is cracked but is still intact and illuminates.
