Vintage, VERY OLD 1920s-30s, Neon HOTEL Sign, Original

<<< VINTAGE NEON SIGN, HOTEL >>>. For sale, this old HOTEL sign, probably circa 1920s – 1930s. This sign is approximately 7 feet wide, 2.5 feet tall, and 1 foot wide. It’s a two sided sign. The sign has been completely rewired with GTO wire and new outdoor transformers. All wiring is new. The neon tubing is new. The neon tubing was bent by a neon sign sign company that specializes in the restoration of vintage signs. They are very knowledgeable and are able to match old neon colors. The neon is an unusual blue color, more muted than the light blue neon you typically see in other newer signs from the 1950s. The sign has a simple wall plug, just plug it into a wall receptacle and you are good to go. Interestingly, the two sides of the sign have aged a little differently from each other, probably because one side was in the shade versus the sun. I’ve coated the sign in flat clear to arrest any further surface rust. The inside structure is good. The sign can be hanged from the top brackets. The Classic Frontier Hotel Las Vegas Neon Sign. This is truly a once in a lifetime available treasure. It is a piece of Pop Culture! This sign has had so many Feature Films filmed in front of it. The photos that have been taken in front of it and driving down the Las Vegas strip over the years have embedded it in American History! This is the only know surviving sign from the Frontier Hotel that’s not in the LAS VEGAS NEON MUESUM!!! It has been in my private collection for years. I hate to let it go but I need the space. In the first image only half of the bulbs were screwed in. The Neon around each letter doesn’t exist anymore. The sign still works! It would be a breathtaking addition to any collection and will most certainly increase in value! This Neon Sign was built and installed on the Hotel in 1967!
