COCA-COLA COKE HANGING LIGHT-UP ELECTRIC NEON SHOP ADVERTISING SIGN 31 VTG. Found whilst clearing my late fathers lock-up. The cable had been previously cut, but I managed to draw enough through to make a temporary connection. Surprisingly this still works, and judging by the short time delay before it takes to come alive, there must be a fluorescent tube inside. This is exactly as found with a little light corrosion to the alloy case and a few spots of paint on the top. Glass appears in good shape and the bottom has a panel in also. Chains above for suspending it are a little rusty, but I think this has been used previously indoors, and most likely destined for a man-cave scenario one day! I have no idea how old this is and can only assume that as it has a definite feeling of age to it, it is original. There is some scope to improve the appearance of this, and it would be time well spent. Collection in person from DE249DD if required. The rubber feet are cracked and will need to be replaced if you intend to hang in a window. The sign can also be hung on a wall if you wish to display it that way.
