For sale is this amazing FIRESTONE Individual Letters Sign in outstanding condition considering its age! The porcelain has great color! The sign does show signs of wear and use including some scuffs, scratches some minor bending as well as some chips/wear on the porcelain (the worst is on the “F” which can be seen in the second to last pic). This sign once had neon outlining the letters on the outside however, the neon has been removed. Each letter seems to still have a ballast in it based on the weight of each of the letters but I have not confirmed this. The electrical regarding this sign has NOT been tested. I have not removed the backs of the letters to look inside other than the “F” which has screws missing so I could look inside. The letters have the pieces around the edges that the neon use to be hooked to. The sign is in “as found” condition other than being dusted off. The back of the letters do have some areas of surface rust. There is a partial sticker on one of the letters that I can make out that says Underwriters Laboratories. Someone put tin foil over the glass holes to keep stuff out on a few of the letters. There is also some steel attached to the back of the letters from the original mount. They were in worse condition then this set. I was unable to find any others to gauge a value… These are rare from what I understand. The Letters measure approx. (Height x Width in Inches) All letters are the same depth of approx 7 1/4. F – 44 1/2 x 33. I – 30 x 8 1/2. R – 24 x 17 1/4. E – 24 x 19. S – 24 x 18 1/2. T – 29 3/8 x 13 1/4. O – 24 1/2 x 20 3/4.
