Vtg Skippers Advertising Neon Tube Lighted Metal Sign TubeArt Huge 8-1/2 Feet

I believe this sign to be one of the original Skippers Seafood Restraunt signs used from the 1969-70’s era for soon afterwards they changed to a large square back lit sign with Skippers being in the center of it. Not sure if there are any others out there that have survived but highly unlikely for there was not to many of these restraunts during this time. Made by TubeArt, Seattle, Wa. Who has been in business since 1946. It measures approximately 8-1/2 feet wide, 30″ at its tallest point and 10-1/4″ from front to back. Just guessing I would say it weighs between 200 to 250 pounds. It is being stored in a heat controlled environment. I can take it as far as Roseburg or Eugene, Or. Which are both located along the I-5 corridor. Hard to find neon arrow sign. Not one of the reproductions! Measures 8 feet tall and 29 wide. Looks like it was made to be mounted vertically. Came out of the Tacoma area. 10 Feet Long Vintage 1960s “DRIVE THRU” NEON Sign, Works – Letters light up RED — 1 sided sign This was salvaged in St. Pete, FL, right off the store itself! This sign was working right up to the day it was taken down. Very Cool and sooooooooooo Retro… ! The exact measurements are 18″ width (stainless steel Base), 20 1/4″ Height of sign and 123″ (10′ 3″) Long! It’s a biggie! The rest of the sign is metal painted Red. That is not rust on the top of sign in picture, it is dirt. Definitely needs a cleaning. 2 sided Big city Neon Hotel Sign. Stands 20′ 7 1/2″ tall 58″ wide including mounting brackets and 18 thick. Very heavily constructed Sign. Worked when it came off of the building in 1995 but from there it has been moved a few times and a few pieces of neon have been broke. See pictures for details. This is a one and only Sign!
