RECENTLY serviced as pf 4/12/18 Now Equipped with a PLUG and an on/off switch for 110 power so it can be plugged right into a wall! Originally used Outdoors this can be used either inside or outside. Please note that several of the pictures show the neon guy working on the sign and he has half of the red top off. You can see when it is in the back of my truck the entire top is there it is off as he’s working on it. When all hooked up it looks just like it does in the picture other than some obvious age. Absolutely nothing is missing on this sign… There is absolutely nothing missing to the sign And the neon guy added a 110 plug in and a switch. It is in as good a vintage condition as you could ask for in a great sign like this. Not sure of the exact age of this sign but I would guess at least 40+ years old. Measures about 10 total length. I have only been able to find a couple of photos of it online. This sign is in exceptional condition for its age. Some of the photos show our local neon shop having the sign open and lit up so you can see its condition is excellent and it is completely working. He also changed the cut wires out to a regular plug for a 110 outlet and installed and on off switch so you can easily install it in or around your home or business. There is no neon broken and there are no repairs. There is now 110 power and a plug with an on/off switch so it can easily be installed wherever you need it. It is not a two-sided sign it is meant to go flush against the building it is flat on the bottom. It has cleaned up very nicely since we took these pictures it does show age and fading which only adds to its character. Please contact me if you have any questions before making an offer. Recently acquired this sign before just before it ended up in the scrap. Unfortunately we did not remove it, or we would have treated this with a bit more care. A historic one of kind roadside drive in theater sign. From Rockland county New York. “Rockland Drive In Theatre” This was a landmark in the county for many years. Sign did come down a little rough. Sign is in 6 pieces, not sure if all sections are intact. Some of the sections are rotted away on the lower portions. I did not lift top Theatre piece to inspect others in detail, but i can see that raised lettering is bent up a bit. Upper section measures just over 18 foot long 47 inches tall, and lettering is about 3 ft tall. Obviously the neon is broken out, but some remnants can be seen in pictures. Pictures give a pretty good idea of condition, again a bit rough, but a one of a kind vintage neon that would be well worth the repair or restoration. You will probably never see another like this. Sign is located in Newburgh New York 12550. I have attached a picture of the sign as it once stood. Thanks for looking, and please ask questions about this piece of history. 10 Feet Long Vintage 1960s “DRIVE THRU” NEON Sign, Works – Letters light up RED — 1 sided sign This was salvaged in St. Pete, FL, right off the store itself! This sign was working right up to the day it was taken down. Very Cool and sooooooooooo Retro… ! The exact measurements are 18″ width (stainless steel Base), 20 1/4″ Height of sign and 123″ (10′ 3″) Long! It’s a biggie! The rest of the sign is metal painted Red. That is not rust on the top of sign in picture, it is dirt. Definitely needs a cleaning.
