Vintage 1940’s Richfield Neon Gas Sign Double Sided, 10 Foot, Motorized

Beautiful 1940s double sided richfield sign, restored a few years ago. Approximately 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. There are very few of these known to have been made which makes these very rare and collectable. All neon works perfectly and rotating assembly has been rebuilt and all new bearings and seals replaced, perfect showpiece for the neon or car collectors show area. Most of these signs were single sided and most double sided ones were cut in half to make two wall signs. This is the only one I know of to exist. Go to following link to see a video of it. C1940’s restaurant/bar NEON sign. This old steel box sign was found in Marble Head, Massachusetts….. I bought it from a Antiques dealer, and he claimed the original Bayview burned to the ground in 1943. The condition is very good….. I replaced on of the transformers, and the glass bulbs are all in perfect shape. The sign is all steel, and is quite heavy. It measures 72″ long, 22″ high, and 10 deep. Huge Historic Vintage Neon Sign Rockland Drive In Theatre 18′ double sided resto

Recently acquired this sign before just before it ended up in the scrap. Unfortunately we did not remove it, or we would have treated this with a bit more care. A historic one of kind roadside drive in theater sign. From Rockland county New York. “Rockland Drive In Theatre” This was a landmark in the county for many years. Sign did come down a little rough. Sign is in 6 pieces, not sure if all sections are intact. Some of the sections are rotted away on the lower portions. I did not lift top Theatre piece to inspect others in detail, but i can see that raised lettering is bent up a bit. Upper section measures just over 18 foot long 47 inches tall, and lettering is about 3 ft tall. Obviously the neon is broken out, but some remnants can be seen in pictures. Pictures give a pretty good idea of condition, again a bit rough, but a one of a kind vintage neon that would be well worth the repair or restoration. You will probably never see another like this. Sign is located in Newburgh New York 12550. I have attached a picture of the sign as it once stood. Thanks for looking, and please ask questions about this piece of history. Up for sale is a NOS Large Vintage double Sided light up Philco Advertising Sign made by Neon Products. Yes, this sign is new old stock. It was never used before. The measurements are 71 inches long by 34.5 inches high and 12 inches wide and very heavy. The sign is in working condition without any issues. The only thing that was done to the sign after removing it from the original crate was to install an electricial plug and remove the dirt.
