Vintage What a time Genuine Neon sign Pink/Orange, Dimmable, Acrylic Frame
Presumably Manufactured sometime after 2002 based on the original transformer. Worked fine but the original transformer was really loud and had too much visible flicker in the sign, almost like a strobe light. Replaced with a newer 8Kv solid state transformer that’s dimmable down to a certain degree (lowered below a certain threshold and it will just strobe and eventually turn off). Disassembled the entire sign to clean all the dust from the tubes and Acrylic backplate. Unfortunately the previous owner taped the power cable directly to the acrylic and that left adhesive residue on the acrylic, I gently cleaned up what I could with soap and water and a microfiber towel. No harsh chemicals or abrasives were used. The areas there was tape appear cloudy because I essentially smeared the adhesive that didn’t wanna get picked up. I didn’t want to damage anything so I left it as-is. It looks significantly better than the very visible tape residue on there prior. Has integrated mounting holes(one grommet is missing) as well as chain loops, power cord is 6′ with an inline power switch, dimmer knob is on the side of the transformer. In the pictures there are some letters with missing tie wire but they will all be securely tied down later today when I receive a new roll of tie wire. In person it looks more pink with a tinge of red in the picture it looks more red, If you need any more detailed pictures or videos message me and I should be able to get back to you within a couple hours.
