Up for your consideration is a fully working vintage Boars Head neon sign. This is a genuine commercial sign from Boars Head out of a real deli. It’s made with quality materials to withstand everyday use and wear. It’s date marked from October 4th 1995, completely original and shines super bright. Measures 25″ x 21″ compared to the 19″ x 15″ knock offs. Besides being a genuine product, larger size, quality materials my favorite thing about this neon is the transformer. It’s a genuine old school Franceformer neon – the power sapping boxes that have the beautiful hum of the original neons. The Franceformer is what makes this a collectable and a return on your investment. So I’ve included several pictures, it has some minor paint chips on the neon tubes, built up dust and paint loss on the support frames. The second picture shows a side by side example of how it was originally compared to being cleaned. Een removing the dust and will be touching up the paint as time permits. I have several other neons available as well as project neons for repair or to use the frame and transformer as custom projects.
