COLOR COLOR COLOR What a wonderful neon sign with great two color neon and paint, yellow and orange. The size is smaller, so easy to work with. It is a two sided sign and we have added neon to one side for ease of display. I actually found small coal nuggets inside the sign, no clue how they got there, maybe the mice wanted to keep warm. The sign is 73″ tall x 20 ” wide at center of flame and base, 13 deep including neon. The two iron angle brackets on the bottom are 24 long which allows it to stand easily. This is a vintage tin can sign in the form of a martini glass. A great form with traces of original paint including two olives on the front. The sign has an old surface and is very solid with some rust spots on the surface. We have added new neon, green on the glass stem and yellow outlining the vessel of the glass. The sign can be operated by a pull chain on the back and hung by two iron brackets mounted to the top which would allow the sign to hang flat against a wall. What a great look! The sign is 36″ wide 48 1/2″ tall (51″ tall with hangers) and 8 1/2″ deep including the neon. The PETS sign has a look that is so cool with Art Deco features and wonderful 2 color neon. The neon is new as is the wiring and transformer. The style and features are just stunning starting with the bull nose rounded end and the sharp angles of the letters. The neon on the letters is green and the neon stripe on the base is red. The material on the front and back of the base is Flexume and the balance is regular tin. The construction is solid. The sign is 78″ long x 19 1/2″ tall x 11 deep. Very cool cold beer sign has a great look even when not lighted. The sign for “cold beer” was painted over another old sign with an art deco shaped tin face. The sign face is old and I think the repaint is sometime in 50’s or 60’s. The neon is new and the “can” had to be rebuilt to accommodate the neon attachments and transformer inside. We used corrugated steel around the outside which gives it a cool industrial look. The back is also new as is the inside frame. Found in the mid west this is a cool sign for a restaurant, bar or entertainment room. The sign is 80 1/2″ tall and 29″ wide and 9 1/2 deep including the neon. It can be hung by two eye hooks on the top and operated with a pull on/off string on back. You can see this sign and others in person at the Old State Theater Antique Mall in Columbia, PA. This is the tin skin of one side of an old neon tin can sign. The can is long gone but this wonderfully painted skin from one side has survived. The original paint is worn but still readable. One of Philadelphia’s iconic attractions, the Reading Terminal Market, located in center city across from the convention center. This is a directional sign that hung in a bus station or subway nearby. Advertising pieces from the market are rare because they are usually restored and reused as was the case in a recent renovation. However we were able to locate this original directional sign for the market. The sign is aluminum dates from the 1950’s or 1960’s. When found in a craw space under a house in Sewell, NJ, the T on the end was missing and the neon was in bad shape. We have restored the sign with new neon. It is a wonderful piece of Philadelphia historic advertising. The sign is 11 feet long x 15″ tall and 10 1/2″ deep and is basically a box, very sturdy with iron hangers on the back side. This is a fun painted tin can sign for Pool Hall. The sign is vintage and was painted, possibly over another sign. It is a tin can sign that was two sided but the second side is very faded. Bright paint colors used really pop and the blue neon is wonderful with outline lettering, and is only on one side. The neon around the 8 ball has been muted to give it a cool glow. The painted surface is old possibly 1950’s and the can is in very sturdy condition and hangs by two iron hangers on the ends. We found this sign in western Pennsylvania. The sign is 8′ long x 38″ tall including the iron hangers, 23″ tall not including the hangers and 10 deep.
