Neon looks very greenish in pictures and must say it is more blue in person, this is as good as it gets, hard to describe but I will try The advertisement for prest-o-lite batteries is back painted on glass that gives a very cool 3D effect that you cannot tell in photos, also has glass face on outside of clock, original paint and all parts excluding only a newer cord to be safe. This is the coolest clock I have seen in a long time, has original maker tag on the back as well. Clock is 17 across the face. RESCUED FROM STORAGE OUTSTANDING ART DECO “SIX SIDED” NEON CLOCK. MEASURES: 20″H, 22″W, 6D. I BELIEVE IT WEIGHS ABOUT 20 LBS. THIS TWO-COLOR NEON ART DECO CLOCK WILL BE “FRAGILE PACKAGED”, DOUBLE-BOXED. EYE CATCHING RED WITH BLUE! Please let me know if you have any questions! Just noticed there is a tiny tiny chip in the glass upper right corner. I pulled this clock out of storage and plugged it in. It worked to my surprise! I have no idea if it is all original or not and I don’t make claims either way. I found an article about this clock at neon clock. Org Sure looks the same as the second one! WONDERFUL PIECE OF ADVERTISING HISTORY. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1940’S HEAVY BLUE PORCELAIN PHARMACY SIGN BY ACME SIGNAGE. SIGNED ACME ON THE FRONT. THIS PIECE WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH NEON LIGHTING IN IT. THERE REMAINS THE FEW HOLES FROM THE NEON. THE PORCELAIN IS SHINY AND BEAUTIFUL, THE LETTERS ARE BRIGHT WHITE. THIS SIGN IS HEAVY AND VERY LARGE. IT’S JUST SHY OF 9′ (107″) LONG AND 20″ WIDE. SIGN IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. A FEW CHIPS AROUND THE EDGE, BUT OVERALL IN VERY EXCELLENT CONDITION.
