Overall has some wear as you can see some of the paint on it is chipping & flaking in areas it is super cool looking……. 1950s Dealer Advertising Neon Clock Sign. “Farmer Motor Sales Rochester, NH”. Shows some wear for its age mostly paint flake and can use a cleaning, but perfect for restoration. The front glass lens is missing. The neon tubing is there not working with minor breaks. The clock works and keeps accurate time when tested. It still has the original pin and knob to adjust the time fine without fault. Paint is flaking and/or has worn away. I don’t know if the plug is original or history, but has the old style theme. I was going to open the back screw to take a peek, but as the screw was hard to turn I figured to leave it ASIS. Not many of these were made and even fewer have survived. Measures approximately 20″ in diameter and about 6″ deep. (Heavy/Awkward items may take another day). This drastically will cut back delays in the system & resolve questions more quickly. The set is missing the F and i to complete the firestone. The letter could be made by a pro etal fab guy and porcelained. It would probably cost a bunch though. Hoping someone out there has the rest. About half the glass round insulators are gone, it feels like some of the letters have the transformers in them, a couple of letters have bent parts, see pics. Letters stand about 2 feet tall each and about 16-18 wide. Letters have some latex paint (red) on them. Letters are solid white once paint is removed. Please keep this in mind when viewing the s&h charges. Thank you for your understanding! Neat old Coors beer lighted motion sign. Measures approx 21″ wide x 15″ high x 5 deep. This is a heavy, well made sign, manufactured by NPI, or Neon Products Inc. Constructed of a metal cabinet with hard plastic frame, and a translucent mountains and river scene encased between two pieces of glass. Illuminated by a single fluorescent tube with starter and transformer and works well. It takes a few seconds to ignite when first turned on, which is normal for the older fluorescent fixtures. There is a pull chain type switch on the rear to turn on or off. There is a motor which turns a wheel behind the river which gives the illusion that the water is flowing downstream. The motor starts right up and runs quietly. The item displays quite nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina from age and use. There is a small chip to the bottom left rear corner of the plastic frame. Hard to notice, just trying to be thorough. The gold anodized metal surrounding the Coors script is tarnished. There are various nicotine stains throughout from being hung for many years in a smoky bar. Please expect the item to show various other areas of wear and tear and patina from age and use. Ready to display and enjoy! Vintage 1950s neon Budweiser sign is in excellent overall condition and works like a champ! Absolutely no issues with neon tubing. Neon is as bright as it was day one. Has been turned on and/or used very little as it has never been removed from it’s original crate. Produced by Mount Vernon Neon Sign Co in the mid 1950s. I have wiped it down a bit to better show illumination of neon, however you may decide to give it a thorough cleaning. Please view photos as they are part of the description. Bowtie measures 26.5×11 inches, this does not include cast metal “A” or frame of sign. Crate measures 35x12x19 inches. If you have any specific instructions regarding special packing, please let me know before paying so that I may adjust invoice if necessary.
