1940’s – 50’s Foremost Ice Cream Neon – Custom Frame. Three color neon – blue, tangerine and french vanilla, mounted on custom cast iron frame. Please look at the high res overall and detail photos of neon glass, lighted and not lighted. I have owned this sign for twenty five years and and never had any issues with the neon or glass. The transformer is original. It is 9000 watts, is quiet, and was produced by Jefferson Electric, Cat. There is light resin loss when sign is lighted for extended periods. The chain pulls easily in and out but does not turn the neon on/off – this is a simple switch that is available at Home Depot for a few dollars. The frame is cast iron and designed specifically for this neon. It is very heavy and is beautiful in its own right. This sign can be displayed on a flat surface or hung on the wall.
