Vintage 1950’s Prescriptions Light Up Sign 37 X 4.25 X 3.5 Plax-tex Signs
This is an amazing sign. It is in great condition. It does have surface rust and scrapes and scratches consistent with it’s age. It could use a good cleaning. It measures 37″ x 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2 it has hooks on it so you can hang it or you can just sit on a shelf. The front plate comes off. All of the letters are individual pieces like tiles with raised letters on them. This is a great sign that would make a gift for the pharmacist in your life. It could use a new electrical cord. Vintage Neon Coachlite Motel Metal Sign. The Coachlite Motel opened in West Chicago IL in the 1950s. This sign was mounted to a pole by the street. Original neon still intact. It is metal and very heavy. 11-1/2″ long 4-1/2″ tall 18 deep. Will need full restoration for it to light up again. Would display very well as is.

Very rare 1950’s neon. In the photos the neon has is swirling look but this just the camera effect. The color is solid in person. Sign is made by Anheuser-Busch as stamped on the back of the transformer. Works great and has a nice even color. Made to hang in a window it has all of the original support structure. The transformer and frame are all flat black. The cord is missing the ground prong but works fine. The pull chain switch works fine. See photos for size.
