Vintage Miller Lite Neon Beer Sign “Quad” 1992 With Original Box #57-53373. The Miller Lite Quad Neon Beer Sign is in very good condition and lights up nicely. The sign has a nice white neon on the inside, with a nice blue neon around it on the outside, making up each letter spelling out “Lite”. There are some dark spots to the neon tubing that can be seen with the sign both turned on and turned off. The metal framing is black and is in very good shape. The metal protrusions which hold the neon tubing in place are in good shape but do have some rusting to them. The two vertical metal brackets have an additional piece of metal attached to them with intentional bends to them near the top, and each bracket has a hole near the top of the bend. The transformer has a Franceformer metal tag on the side of it with a serial number of 02 92. There is also a blue Underwriters Laboratories sticker on the top of the transformer. A white sticker is attached to the back of one of the brackets that reads: Universal Elec. There is a pull chain on the left side of the transformer that will turn the sign on and off. We tested it and it works fine. There is also a still-wound-up string attached to the pull chain. The power cord and three-prong plug look to be in good shape – The cord looks to be about 4 or 5 feet long – It is bound with a plastic tie and we did not unwind it. The Neon Sign dimensions are approximately 19.75 Inches Tall (bottom to top of the two vertical metal mounting bars), 26.25 Inches Wide (end to end of the widest horizontal mounting bars), and 6.5 Inches Deep (back of transformer to front of metal mounting bars). The original box is also included. It is in okay shape but does have some wear to it. There are a number of spots where old tape has taken off some of the writing on the box. There is also some handwriting and old tape on the box. There is an item number #57-53373 and a 92 on the box. The inside of the box has a section of black chain and two hooks for hanging the sign stapled to the inside cardboard and still sealed in a plastic bag, though the bag has a rip in it. We are unsure of the length of the chain or it if is a single chain or two smaller chains. There is also an instruction sheet from the Universal Electric Sign Co. With directions on how to mount a neon sign. The sign is currently stored at another location, so we would need a day or two to retrieve it. We would also be willing to travel farther but would need to ask for some reimbursement for gas and tolls. We will also be traveling to Florida sometime over the 2023 winter. We do not know our exact dates and locations yet, but we could possibly work out a meeting date/time/place if are located near I-95 corridor from Delaware to Florida.
