The marquee insert is hand-painted and was professionally done o ver 35 years ago. If you watch it long enough it will lull you to sleep.. Ive been collecting neon clocks for many years now and Pinwheels are one of the nicest clocks to own.. When I got this pinwheel its 3 neon tubes did not work , I replaced the transformer with a heavy duty unit and the 3 color neon tubes came to life, i also wired in a toggle switch to shut off the neon if you want, and clock and pinwheel spinner keeps running if neon is off or on.. Beautiful Red , green and white neon tubes lite up the nite. Its Condition is very nice used condition , with original blue paint under the white that was painted on when car-lot bldg was painted yrs ago.
