A VERY NICE ORIGINAL VINTAGE NEON ADVERTISING SIGN FOR FURNITURE. THE NEON TUBE HAS HAD A SMALL REPAIR, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT IS ALL ORIGINAL, INCLUDING BALLAST, WIRING AND OTHER ELECTRICAL PARTS. THIS SIGN CAME FROM IMPERIAL HARDWARE, THAT STARTED IN EL CENTRO CA. TO DO SO THE SIGN IS 60″ LONG, 6.5″ HIGH AND 4 3/4 WIDE. IT IS A PIECE OF ROADSIDE AMERICANA THAT YOU RARELY SEE.. THIS HAS A VERY COOL LOOK AND A UNIQUE DECO STYLE BUILD TO IT. BY FAR ONE OF THE COOLEST PORCELAIN NEONS IVE HAD. THE COLORS ARE EXTREMELY COOL AND IT HAS GOOD GLOSS.. THIS PIECE WOULD LOOK AMAZING IN A COLLECTION OR MUSEUM THAT WAS BIG ENOUGH TO HOUSE IT. THE WHOLE THING IS MADE OF PORCELAIN METAL. Original Neon Reverse Painted Glass Sign Radio Advertising Art Deco Vintage

Beautiful Piece of Advertising here. This original reverse painted glass neon looks to be all original even the cord. I see no restoration or touch up. Original company labels on the back. Neon lights up and stays lit. The inside advertisment can be removed and replaced with another one, but this is what was in it and fits the piece and era. This unit is about 15lbs. See pictures for conditon. Any questions just ask. I will be traveling to Iola Wisconsin to the old car show in July and could bring there also. Not sure of age, but pre 1960s at least.
