All glass has been recently replaced. This sign is from the 1940s. 7’6″ wide, 1’7″ tall, and 9.5 deep (including glass). The cord measures approx. The back has some kind of plaster on the back, which I assume is the result of having been attached to the side of a building at some point. No cracks or issues, has the old school made in USA buzz. Metal shows surface rust in areas that would clean up. Cord was replaced with a grounded plug. With some tlc this would polish up nicely. Signs like this from suntan oil companies never come available, they’re rare. Coppertone gave these neon signs to only the high volume sellers, and this one went to a surf shop in Florida back in the early 90’s, and was stored in the original box all these years, it’s never been out of the box. I took it out of the box just long enough to plug it in and take some pictures of it lit up. It’s very bright and in mint condition. It’s in Atlanta, GA. Any questions, just ask.
