<<< VINTAGE NEON SIGN, HERBS BODY SHOP >>>. For sale, this very old body shop sign, probably circa 1940s – 1950s. This sign is approximately 3.5 feet high, 6.5 feet long, and 16 inches wide. It’s a two sided sign. The sign has been completely rewired with GTO wire and new outdoor transformers. All wiring is new. The neon tubing is new. The neon tubing was bent by a neon sign sign company that specializes in the restoration of vintage signs. They are very knowledgeable and are able to match old neon colors. The neon is two color, orange and blue, both vintage colors. The sign has a simple wall plug, just plug it into a wall receptacle and you are good to go. I’ve coated the sign in flat clear to arrest any further surface rust. The inside structure is good. The sign can be hanged from the top brackets, mounted from the side, or by resting on its bottom. We have lots of other neon signs, some listed already or in the works! Please see our other listings. We can crate this up as needed. We do travel frequently, possibly can bring to you. Vintage 5 Ft. Tiki Hawaiian Hula Girl Maiden ALOHA Wood Mounted Neon Sign Rare
Up for sale is a vintage 5 ft. X 26″ one sided Hawaiian hula girl neon sign mounted on 3/4″ black painted wood carved in the shape of a hula girl with an Aloha red neon sign attached. This sign has vibrant pink, yellow, blue and red neon colors! It is in very good condition with new wires that attach to the new transformer box that measures appr. 24″ x 7″ x 9 with a side switch for an easy on and off access. Vintage Neon Sign, STAR, Sky-Lit Motel, 1950-1960s, Original, Atomic Age
<<< VINTAGE NEON SIGN, ATOMIC AGE STAR, SKY-LIT MOTEL >>>. This sale is for the STAR. It’s a spectacular sign, even more impressive in person! The SKY-LIT motel was in Green Bay, WI and unfortunately was demolished in 2015 to make way for a retention pond. Just before demolition was to occur, we salvaged the sign with city permission. Since then, we have been working on this sign, slowly but surely, first cleaning the porcelain sign and then rebuilding the sign can. The approach was to retain originality but have sound wiring and structure. The sign has all new wiring and new transformers installed. The neon tubing required repair in places and we worked with a local company that specializes in vintage neon. The electronic controller in the sign is set-up to display 16 different patterns of stepping / flashing. They are all very interesting and eye catching displays; one of the patterns steps through all the different patterns. The speed of the display can also be changed from slow to blazing fast, whatever you would like. Please see the attached video. The sign has a simple wall plug, just plug it into a wall receptacle and you are good to go. The sign is approximately 9 feet tall by 8 feet wide by 1 foot deep.
