NEW OLD STOCK LONE STAR BEER NEON SHIELD SIGN. Impossible to find / highly sought after Lone Star Beer Shield logo neon sign in Original Box. These are very popular signs manufactured in the 1970’s and commonly counterfeited. A quick search of Lone Star neons will turn up dozens of FAKE, BOOTLEGGED copies of this sign design. The copies are hand bent, most likely by child labor in CHINA, and will look nothing like the pictures you are shown. This authentic version is made on a professional grade commercial tube bender. If you have any respect for yourself or this country you will not settle for a lesser quality, cheaply made Chinese knock-off of ANYTHING, let alone a neon sign which if not made properly could burn your house down. It has only ever been turned on for me to take the photos for this listing. The sign has never been removed from the original box and is still wired into it as it came from the factory. You will notice that the blackout paint between the letters and outlines is cracking with age and emits some light where it is supposed to be solid paint. I personally think it adds a cool patina to the sign and looks better as is. If you want it to be pristine any type of household paint can be used to re-coat the blackout areas. It all depends on if you want it to look brand new or aged. Cord is in nice shape, not at all brittle. The neon colors are all vivid without any color loss or fading on the glass.
