Vintage Mobilgas Porcelain Sign measures 5 feet 2 inches high, length across 7 feet 10 inches. This very rare sign originally had blinking neon on the wings to make a motion type effect. The horse retains great porcelain gloss on horse is very nice, the white has part is not as shiny. Neon would look wonderful on the sign, there is no can, just the skin. The only other one I have seen was at the General Petroleum Museum in Seattle. WONDERFUL PIECE OF ADVERTISING HISTORY. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 1940’S HEAVY BLUE PORCELAIN PHARMACY SIGN BY ACME SIGNAGE. SIGNED ACME ON THE FRONT. THIS PIECE WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH NEON LIGHTING IN IT. THERE REMAINS THE FEW HOLES FROM THE NEON. THE PORCELAIN IS SHINY AND BEAUTIFUL, THE LETTERS ARE BRIGHT WHITE. THIS SIGN IS HEAVY AND VERY LARGE. IT’S JUST SHY OF 9′ (107″) LONG AND 20″ WIDE. SIGN IS IN EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. A FEW CHIPS AROUND THE EDGE, BUT OVERALL IN VERY EXCELLENT CONDITION. Vintage 1950’s Chevrolet Advertising Neon Clock Sign

Vintage 1950’s era Chevrolet Neon Clock. These were provided to dealers to hang in their show room. Not many of these were made and even fewer have survived. Measures approximately 20″ in diameter and about 6″ deep. Clock and neon work great. Outside of metal case does have some paint wear to the krinkle finish. Mostly to the high spots and edges. No big areas, just small chips here and there. Glass has reverse painted design around outside edge that appears to be 100% intact, or at least nearly complete. I didn’t notice any paint loss to it. This is Guaranteed 100% to be an vinatge old original Mobil horse from the 1950’s and it was used on the west coast exclusively… 8′ fro tail to nose… Vintage OLD Mobil gas Pegasus horse, see my other porcelain neon sign listings. They were used on the west coast and this particular one came out of Oregon. If you do a google search you may be able to find photos of when they were displayed back in the day, plus most oil & gas collectors from the west coast have heard of and seen these before however they are usually very rough condition..
