Vintage 1940’s Richfield NEON Sign Double Sided, 10 Foot, Motorized
Beautiful 1940s double sided richfield sign, restored a few years ago. Approximately 10 feet tall and 6 feet wide. There are very few of these known to have been made which makes these very rare and collectable. All neon works perfectly and rotating assembly has been rebuilt and all new bearings and seals replaced, perfect showpiece for the neon or car collectors show area. Most of these signs were single sided and most double sided ones were cut in half to make two wall signs. This is the only one I know of to exist. Go to following link to see a video of it operating. Vintage Cessna Aviation Large Porcelain Neon Sign Authorized Service
Large 40″ x 66 3/4″ Cessna Authorized Service Sign. For parts or repair. I don’t have the porcelain bullnose piece or the parts to put signs together or any of the neon parts. Signs have porcelain loss and surface rust in spots. There is one bullet hole. Has a couple of dents around edge. The lip on one sign has been cut and bent in four places to hang on wall(can be bent back). There are a couple of slight dents at drilled neon holes. Photos show glare spots. They are not dents. Rare Vintage 1950’s RAMBLER car dealership double sided neon sign
I bought the old RAMBLER dealership in Marlinton West Virginia in 1997. This neon sign was attached to the building. I had it repaired and covered in plexiglass to protect it. It lights up on both sides. It is 10 feet tall and 21 inches wide at the letters. It is 13 inches deep. The plexiglass adds 4 inches in each side.
