In addition, A New Clear Plastic Frame Was Recently Constructed By The Neon Guy Who Went Through it, Fixing Anything It May Have Needed Getting It Ready For The Next 60+ Years. I realize I have to take additional pictures and of course, none of the other items are included with this sale. This neon sign was uncovered from a locksmith who recently retired and closed the doors after being at that location in the Bronx for over 53 years. This family business had previously been around for decades so these neon signs could potentially be well over the 53 years. I think he said they came when they moved in or were there something like that, however will try to confirm. I kept most of the dust on it so the neon guy received them barn fresh so to say to preserve everything he could. I hate to sell this however we just have too much stuff. I’m listing this quickly because if I keep looking at at I’m not going to sell it and I know there is someone out there who will not only appreciate it, it may help their business as well. It is such a honor to get this going properly, and enjoy it while we own it knowing it can’t be replaced. It’s in a totally different league than the new neon as I’m sure you know if you’re interested in it and I can’t imagine you being disappointed. I wasn’t a neon guy before however, I’m quickly turning into a big admirer of the old neon so really don’t mind if nobody buys it. I’m sure this is why people want 60+ year old neon, I didn’t know or understand the fixation until now, they are mesmerizing.
