Vintage West Bend Lithia “Open” Neon Wisconsin Beer Brewery Sign. Old West Bend Lithia red, green, and blue neon open sign. Appears to be all original. I haven not tried cleaning the sign. This is for the neon only, no transformer is included. This type of neon would have hung down form a transformer and hung in a old tavern window. Neon measures about 21″ x 13″. Rare Vintage West Bend Lithia Beer Neon Window Sign. The glass for the word beer was recently replaced and the transformer was tested. I have the trace and pattern and invoice from the repair. The neon is from the collection of the late Jim Paul. A prominent West Bend Lithia collector from Wisconsin. 12 3/4 tall to top of the L. Approx 5 3/4 deep. Condition: good working condition. The beer portion of the sign is was replaced, I have the trace pattern of the original glass (see last 2 pics). Some small rust spots on the metal. Some scratches and paint loss on the metal. We are offering this one of a kind sign. While it may not be a beer, oil or car sign it does have Hollywood fame! Who remembers the scene? The sign is double sided porcelain and retains a beautiful patina finish. The can is in great solid condition with no rust at all. This sign measures 6′ across and 4.5 tall and made by Speedway Signs. There are a few small areas of finish loss and one side has some bends at the bottom when they took the sign down. We do have a few pieces of the original glass that survived and most of the glass stands. The sign is ready for new glass and your collection. This motel is still located on Roosevelt Rd in West Chicago, IL. We can also deliver to Chicagoland Coin Op show on November 12th.
