This an awesome trade sign. It came from a factory in Beaverfalls Pa where Ingram sign company was. Don’t miss out on this sign. The porcelain almost looks like marble its awesome. I believe these letters were on a larger sign that was neon. That is why the dark heat marks are around the edge and the I has holes and one metal insert that neon would have fed through. Vintage Regal figural boot neon trade sign Ultra RARE 1930s – One of a Kind. Up for sale is this one of a kind and possibly the largest neon trade signs ever to be made. This piece is fantastic. It is in fully functional condition and works off a 110 outlet. The neon has been redone, the entire piece rewired and t he spur was reconstructed with antique wood and matching patina. A custom box was also constructed for display and to easily move the piece about. The heel is attached to the box and the rest of the boot can be easily removed to help maneuver it into tight spaces. This piece originally hung outside the famous Regal shoe store front in NYC for over 40 years which lit up the street at night. Please have a look as it requires a special collector with ample space. 6 Long Original Antique Double Sided Neon Optometrist Trade Sign. Sign dates to the 1910s / 1920s. Wigdor on each side and one side says Eyes Examined. Measures 6 ft x 35 tall x 13 deep. Overall very nice condition and structurally sound for its age. One side has a little bit more paint loss than the other. There are a couple small rust hole spots that I took a close up of in the last two photos. A couple of the glass insulators are not in place but are down inside the sign. I would estimate the weight to be about 150 pounds. Two people can easily move it. This is a true American trade sign. Will be the center of any advertising collection when the neon is re done. You’re looking at a vintage double neon “JOHN HOWARD’S CAR STORE” car dealership double neon clock in excellent working condition and dating to approx the 1930s. This item came out of an auto dealer in Pennsylvania (and from memory, I believe it was Allentown). Some time during the 1980s, I’m assuming they created a hand-painted label to cover part of the face of the clock (which is much earlier). Both the inner and outer neon fire up straight away and are free from damage or repair. Both the chain switch and the clock movement have been professionally replaced. The knob to set the time is also working very well. There is one small crack in the glass (as pictured) but it’s barely noticeable. This item is ready to be hung on your wall and enjoyed. A very interesting ex neon sign in the form of an oil lamp with a large flame. Must have had a wonderful flickering motion back in it’s hay days.
