Vintage 1979 Schmidt Beer Cold Beer Lighted Sign, plastic face, metal frame, plastic in good condition, some rust on the top of the metal box, but not visible. Looks great lit up, has a neon look to it. Measures approximately 36″ x 8″ x 3.

Great early sign that can have Neon restored back on it if desired. Here is a great sign to add to the collection. The piece is in decent shape with some porcelain chipping, overall still a great sign for display. It measures 48 inches wide and 36. If you collect signs, oil cans, cabin decor, farm signs, tractor signs, ranch, cows, pigs, chickens, swine, hog, etc, Add this nice piece to your collection. I can accept Pay Pal. All original 1950’s Schmidt’s One Beautiful Beer! Glass neon tube unfortunately has a small break in the bottom of the letter “M” in the part connecting to the letter “I” (see photos 7 & 8). I did plug it in and it partially lit up. The bottom red lines came on a bit, but I did not leave it plugged in long because I noticed the damage to the cord (zoom in to photo 4). Despite this issue, it still displays great as is, even without lighting her up. Many nice pieces including signs, bottles, cans, clocks, beer taps, and other advertising breweriana memorabilia. If you are a Schmidt collector, or just a fan of advertising and beer stuff in general, be sure to check out my other listings! There are pieces from all of the different Schmidt breweries/companies including Schmidt of Philadelphia, Wisconsin, Jacob Schmidt of St. Paul Minnesota, Fuhrmann & Schmidt out of Shamokin PA, Christian Schmidt, etc. There are also various items with the “Schmidt” name which are non-related to the beer company such as milk bottles and a few other pieces.
