The set is missing the F and i to complete the firestone. The letter could be made by a pro etal fab guy and porcelained. It would probably cost a bunch though. Hoping someone out there has the rest. About half the glass round insulators are gone, it feels like some of the letters have the transformers in them, a couple of letters have bent parts, see pics. Letters stand about 2 feet tall each and about 16-18 wide. Letters have some latex paint (red) on them. Letters are solid white once paint is removed. For your consideration a vintage 1950’s sign. The sign is made of metal with a porcelain finish. It is glass neon lit and the neon works. It operates on 120 volt and has a power cord and plug I will be adding a picture of it lit later as there is no power where I have it stored. The neon lights up red. It measures overall 144″ in length by 47″ in height. An excellent addition to any advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old sign. It is located in El Paso Illinois 61738. I can store the piece for as long as needed in a safe dry building at no extra charge as long as it is paid for. It’s a 12 foot sign, 4 foot tall. Firestone sign is porcelain and exterior side is stainless steel sheeting. Original neon sign, very old, I’m thinking 30s-50s from how the neon connects up. This sign had damage to the white “wings”. I ended up remaking that part out of steel and painting them white/red/and cleared. Where needed, I replaced damaged stainless steel panels. I also added some framing into the back for hanging the sign. I’m away for a few weeks over Christmas but will finish up work on it on my return. I’m also enclosing here one picture with the same sign with neon on it, just so you can see what it would look like. This is an original porcelain neon Firestone sign. Has a great look lit up. This is approximately 28″ X 118″. All I’ve done is wipe the dust off. This is an original neon porcelain Firestone sign. It measures approximately 16′ long X the “F” is about 36 tall. “Fire” is mounted on one set of aluminum rails, “stone” is mounted on another.
