Please keep this in mind when viewing the s&h charges. Thank you for your understanding. Very scarce 1930s Goebel neon spinner sign. Measures approx 12″ across x 5″ deep at the deepest point. Constructed of a metal cabinet with reverse painted glass sign face. Illuminated by a yellow neon tube with transformer and works well. The motor that drives the outer perforated ring behind the glass that makes the neon appear to flash on and off, drawing your eye towards the sign is in need of repair or replacement, as it does not operate. The sign displays nicely but naturally shows areas of wear and tear and patina from age and use. The red reverse paint near the eagle at center is flaking off. The cord is shot and would certainly need to be replaced before use, as it is dangerous, degraded and bare in areas. All told a super rare and super cool old sign that with a little restoration would likely be the centerpiece of your collection! The neon tube assembly is original from the 50’s. The transformer is new and the aluminum bracket was made to hold the tube assembly. The Twin Pines lights up green and the Milk lights up red.
