HERE WE HAVE AN ORIGINAL 1940’S “AGFA FILM” NEON SIGN, I HAVE HAD THIS SIGN FOR MANY MANY YEARS, THIS OLD NEON SIGN HAS JUST HAD ALL NEW NEON TUBES REPLACED BY A NEON REPAIR MAN IN THE TWIN CITIES MINNEAOPOLIS, THE SIGN HAS ALL THE ORIGINAL GLASS TUBE SUPPORTS AND ALL OF THE SCREWS ARE ORIGINAL EXCEPT FOR THE 4 THAT HOLD THE BLUE NEON TUBE SUPPORTS, THE SIGN ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL CHAIN, YOU CAN SEE THE SIGN HAS ON THE TWO TOP SIDES FOR THE CHAIN TWO DIFFERENT PLACES FOR THE CHAIN ONE TOWARDS THE FRONT AND ONE TOWARDS THE BACK, AS YOU CAN SEE THE SIGN WORKS AND IS JUST BEAUTIFUL, THE BLUE METAL SIGN WITH THE WHITE LETTERING APPEARS TO BE PORCELAIN OR ENAMEL BUT I’M NOT 100% SURE, IT HAS ONE CHIP ON THE BLUE FACE AS SHOWN ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE SIGN JUST PAST THE LETTER “A” NEAR THE EDGE, THE SIGN MEASURES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM 18 7/8″ AND FROM SIDE TO SIDE IS 25 3/4″ AND 5 7/8 DEEP, THE WEIGHT OF THE SIGN IS 21 POUNDS, I HAVE CHOSEN TO NOT DO A THING WITH THE CAN ITSELF AS FAR AS PAINTING, IT HAS OLD BLACK WRINKLE PAINT AND SURFACE RUST, I THINK IT’S PERFECT THE WAY IT IS!!!
