This vintage metal neon sign from the 1940s-50s is a true gem for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Featuring a red color and a single-sided porcelain design, this sign is a rare find for anyone looking to add a unique piece to their collection. Its originality and authenticity are guaranteed, as it has not been modified. Sign could be improved by removing the rest of the paint over, should also polish up pretty nice. Sign is/was originally two panels with a lip to overlap. Can hold if paid for until the Chicago Coin Op show or Peotone. Might make it to Dixie Gas or Springfield Extravaganza, but TBD.

This is a fantastic and RARE Vintage 1940s COCKTAILS Bar Neon Metal Sign, which was pulled from an old cocktail bar in Los Angeles, California. This sign likely dates to the 1940’s – 1950’s and would have originally had glass neon tubing on the left side, and over all of the letters, but these were lost long ago, and this piece has been retrofitted with modern plastic light tubing. This amazing sign is quite large, at approximately 60 inches tall x 28 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches deep. Good condition for age and decades of outdoor display use, with expected scuffing, denting, edge wear, oxidation, and paint loss throughout please see photos. This sort of honest patina is exactly what you would want to see on a sign like this. Acquired from an old collection in Los Angeles County, California. 99% of Cocktail Bar signs that you will see online are Chinese made reproductions, but this is the real deal. RARE Vintage 1940s Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer Neon Light Advertising Sign Restored. Measures about 24″ by 15″. Please note, this neon was restored. The neon tube, cord, transformer are all new. The frame / shell is original but has been repainted. The emblem atop the neon is also original. Very very tough neon to find! From what I was told, the original had been completely shattered and the frame was covered in rust. It was cleaned, repainted, and new neon was created. It is roughly 12 from top to bottom. It has original neon tubing with some flaking on the blackout paint and some rust on the steel frame. Not a common sign. This is a window hanging sign.
