ITEM: (#A-164) Vintage Rolex Advertising Neon Sign. I have asked a lot of professionals and they have all said this neon sign is a Rolex Watch Company sign. I have not been able to verify this as fact by Rolex. It’s a Rolex looking crown in the middle that measures 14 1/4″ high x 13 3/4″ wide. The X measures 9 1/4″ x 9″ and the O measures 9 1/2 in diameter. The letters and crown are all 3 1/4 deep. The whole sign including the board is 3′ wide x 21 1/2 high, not counting the brackets on the end. Inside the letters and crown are what looks like neon tubing. I took apart the O and verified this but haven’t put it completely back together and in the photos, you’ll see a small group of metal spacers and screws that came off the sign. The exterior of each letter and the crown is metal, with colored plexiglass/plastic inside the frame. I’m starting the price high assuming it is indeed Rolex and if I get educated to anything else, I will adjust accordingly. Not wired Please review photos. PHOTOS SHOW THE ITEM’S CURRENT CONDITION.
