Amazing crate of three neon, new old stock, Stegmaier Beer signs in original crate from sign maker. They defiantly were never used or lighted however testing revealed that they all are in working condition. I did hook one to the original transformer as you can see from the photos. They were found in an old time beer distributor’s shop tucked away on top of a freezer. If you know neon you can see that these are the old tubes and colors just beautiful. Funny part is that the crate is marked on three sides not to leave it at the distributes, guess that didn’t work out to well for the sign person. One side is marked Stegmaier. The tubes are intact just a little dusty which I did not clean off. The transformers are pristine note on the transformer box they are called “Luminous Tube”. There is also a hanger for the transformer included with each one. Each sign is 24″ wide x 12 1/2″ tall and 3 deep. They are made to hang in a front window of an establishment. The crate is 25 3/4″ long x 13 1/4″ wide and 14 1/2 high. The only thing that I discovered is the power cords, which are double insulated, the outer rubber is brittle which can be easily corrected. I chose to leave them in as found condition. You can see this display in person at the Old State Theater Antique Mall in Columbia, PA. I will not have a sign hooked up to light but guarantee they work. I just couldn’t separate this cool find because it is just plain rare. The item “Vintage N. O. S. The wires from the transformer were cut, about an inch or so from the transformer- I attached new wire from these leads to the sign and you could use them or get longer ones if needed. This is the older, glass tube only type, with the transformer not attached to the frame of the neon tubes. Thank you for looking.
