This neon hung over a family owned bowling alley in the 1950s, called Key Lanes in Fort Wayne Indiana. 9ftx5ft, it works and looks amazing. It was restored some years ago, definitely repainted darker from the gold it was painted originally. The alley started in 1951, I got a photo from the family dated about 1955 showing it over the door (see photos). The alley was owned by one family from 1951 to 1978 and I was lucky to get this from them. I have two vintage bowling pins from the lanes that goes with it, as well as uncle Ottos (son of the original owner) two hole fifties bowling ball. A real cool piece of Americana bowling history.
