The sign was constructed by NEON PRODUCTS INC.. This company is well known for its art-deco signage designs. It went out of business in 1977 and many of NEON PRODUCTS signage are collector items. This sign has two translucent plastic sides painted withe the Armstrong logo. One side is faded from being stored improperly. The other side is more colorful. There are several small hairline cracks and some scuff marks in the plastic sides from storage. The metal band appears to have the original paint and trim. The sign is a clam shell type opening. Has two original snaps to hold lid closed. The original neon tubing has been removed. Sign can be easily modified to use florescent tubes to light it up.
